Rome's [Georgia] gift to Athens
My family calls me that and people at school and in my neighborhood call me that. I feel like it gives me some swag and kind of motivates me to do better. It’s got a ring to it, kind of like Juice Williams, Bo Jackson, Champ Bailey.
Well, actually I’m changing next year to my other name, Boo
No, I didn’t bother to ask ... I know Herschel Walker was a great running back. I just left it alone.
I didn’t hear about Herschel Walker until like my ninth-grade year really ... Then I started getting comparisons to him. I heard that a lot.
I heard Herschel say on YouTube — I was watching a highlight film on him not too long ago — and he said doing pushups and sit-ups was better than lifting weights. So I do pushups and sit-ups every night, a hundred pushups and a hundred sit-ups. Herschel said he did 200. I’m like, ‘wait a minute now.’
I feel like there’s a tradition with 24 ... I like that Knowshon and Washaun wore it. If I get it, and they say I will, then I’m gonna keep it all the way through.
They’re definitely progressing ... Your first year, it’s hard to come in and really contribute because you’re trying to learn the plays and what the offense is. In your second year is when you figure out, OK, I understand what I’m supposed to do, now I’m starting to understand what the guy opposite of m...
It’s weird to practice one day and then take a week off. You can get out of shape and get weak, but I think we have players who will buy in and do what they’re supposed to do over spring break.
Guys can gain a lot of confidence during the spring, especially from a competitive standpoint, from a physicality standpoint
If you learn to play hard and play physical in the spring and see what it feels like, they’ll remember that. It’s also a big time just to prove to the coaches, should you be in the lineup, should you be playing? I don’t worry about who starts in the spring so much as who’s going to be ready?
I’ve always struggled a little bit keeping the weight on, just with the working out that we do and just genetics
It’s always been something people have talked about with me, but I try not to think about it. I want to let it come naturally. I don’t want to put on 10 pounds overnight and then go out there and lose a second on my 40. I definitely feel like that’s not my strength, running people over. I have to get ou...
I just called him my son now ... He’s 3 and I’m 4.
Florida is an NCAA Tournament team ... They have to win at least one in our league tournament and then they are in. If they win two games, it’s a lock that they are in and I’m rooting for them. They never quit and went right at us.
It's safe to say the Tide is back
There is no question this team is here in large part because of what Coach Saban has done
I think this team would make him proud because they've got that winning attitude.
Not to say it won’t go into the fall, but to wait until the second scrimmage, it’s a little bit difficult to get a guy ready to play for the first game. You’re trying to get them all an opportunity, but you’ve still got to get a guy ready for that first game.
They’ll win a couple of games, and maybe more
Two years ago, Georgia did it
We’re going to go out and play every game like it’s our last and try to get one of those spots like Georgia did.
They went on a magical run
Hopefully we’ll get on a run like that.
Outside of telling them to pack for a week, our complete focus has been on just playing well on Thursday night.

I personally think he is going to struggle at safety in the NFL ... He is much better suited to play cornerback. I think he is a bad tackler. I think he is very inconsistent coming up in run support. Physically it is all there. He has great hips, he has great speed and can cover anybody. He can do all y...
